We are Christians and we operate our business in an honest manner. We are prompt in returning our emails and answering questions. We care about the small things and always try to give the best service. Whether it is a beginner or professional instrument our repair shop knows that you deserve first quality service without an inflated price. Our number one priority is quality. We do not cut corners to meet deadlines. There are times when we turn away business because we cannot meet a customers schedule or if we cannot provide the desired service. We are a growing business, so at times we have more business than we can handle. It's a good problem, but it can create a backlog. We try to manage our turn around times by not taking in too much work, but we can't control when too many instruments arrive at one time.
In addition to our repair services, we stock supplies and accessories for your instrument. We also sell a few used instruments. So call us about anything you are looking for. Try us and let us know what you think.
My name is Steve Epperson. Like many of you, I began playing music in school band in the sixth grade. I rebuilt my first saxophone when I was 15 years old. From then on I wanted to repair instruments. I was also very interested in cars and everything mechanical. I chose to get a degree in Mechanical Engineering. I opened Low Key Music hoping to bring my own perspective to music retail and repair. From the beginning, we offered top quality repair service. My engineering skills and knowlege are an asset when working with metal and all the mechanisms found in instruments. I have always enjoyed working with my hands and making something work and look as it should. I have a few other interests that I work on as well. See My Stuff page. It may or may not be of interest you.

I have enjoyed working wih many different interesting Customers through the years. During the course of many repairs, I get to know my Customers through the emails and phone conversations. I also enjoy working with many of the finest instruments ever produced. God has blessed me with these skills and an understanding family for which I am thankful. When you have your instrument repaired by me, you will know it was done by someone who takes pride in a job well done.

Since our beginning in 1995 we have put customer service as a top priority. We have always treated our customers the way we would want to be treated. Our repair service places the customer's needs first. Each instrument is treated as if it were our own. We are a member of the National Association of Band Instrument Repair Technicians (NAPBIRT) and we stay current with new techniques for repairing instruments. Before going onto the internet to provide repair service, we operated an open to the public retail store for 10 years. We chose to end our retail trade when it became apparant that price was the most important aspect for most customers. Like many small businesses, we could not offer high value service on low priced goods. The volume of very cheap instruments being sold on the internet and in large retail stores has had a big impact on small stores who try to sell only high quality products and services.
Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.
Psalms 150:6

Sing unto him a new song; play skillfully with a loud noise.
Psalms 33:3
